Licensed Surveyors – Contract Opportunities

We are building a vetted network of licensed Professional Land Surveyors (PLS / LS) to support survey opportunities that arise through our existing commercial and infrastructure client relationships.

We are a full-service commercial drone services company working with enterprise and commercial clients nationwide. In the course of our work, we frequently encounter projects that require licensed surveying services—either as a standalone scope or as a prerequisite to additional project work. While we perform many services that do not require licensure, we do not currently employ an in-house licensed surveyor.

By partnering with licensed surveyors on a contract basis, we are able to responsibly execute these survey scopes and, in many cases, support broader project workflows. This creates an opportunity for surveyors to receive well-defined, recurring project work without sales, marketing, or administrative burden.

No drone operation or drone experience is required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform field surveying services in accordance with state licensure requirements
  • Execute clearly defined scopes (boundary, topographic, control verification, construction support)
  • Collect, verify, and document survey control and field data
  • Prepare and/or contribute to survey deliverables as required
  • Certify and sign work products where applicable under state law
  • Communicate schedules, site conditions, and progress clearly and professionally

Required Qualifications

  • Active Professional Land Surveyor (PLS / LS) license in applicable state(s)
  • Ownership and operation of standard survey equipment (GNSS, total station, etc.)
  • Ability to meet defined accuracy, documentation, and deliverable standards
  • Ability to work independently and manage field execution
  • Reliable communication and adherence to agreed timelines

No drone experience required. No UAV operation required.

  • Professional liability (Errors & Omissions) insurance
  • General liability insurance
